Let There Be Peace
				Let There Be Peace is constructed from Christmas fabrics using a variety of prints and colors. The quilting design is three large stars and rays done in 9-ply metallic gold thread. I have always loved working with strips, so the time eventually came to use them in bargello fashion. Marge Edie's book provided the starting point for this. I used the method of sewing the strips to the backing and batting and flipping them. I did all the sewing from the quilt front side and found it very satisfying.
